Editor's Note
The Meryemzade Mosque, located on Sahinkaya Avenue in Beykoz, was built in 1779-1780 by Mehmet Efendi, the son of Grand Vizier Pir Mustafa Pasha, who also served as judge (kadi) in Galata, Edirne, Mecca and Istanbul. This single-minaret, single-balcony mosque was restored in 2014-2015. www.tarihi.ist
