The Pasabahce Glass Factory was Turkey's first glass production facility, established on the instructions of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Its foundation was laid in 1934 in Pasabahce, Beykoz, with the participation of Prime Minister Ismet Inonu and Minister of Economy Celal Bayar.
