The two-story, tile-roofed timber mansion on Saip Molla Avenue was the kaytun (outbuilding) of the Tahir Pasha Mansion, which was demolished in the 20th century. Altered by its widened windows and an added balcony and lacking a distinct style, it was registered under protection No. 33 in 1971 by the Council for Immovable Antiquities and Monuments. 2) 1) Kaytun: the name given to small outbuildings—a building with a reception room and rooms so that guests need not be troubled by the formalities of the main mansion; treasury, pantry, banquet hall.
