Editor's Note

The mansion on Köybaşı Avenue was built in the eclectic style at the end of the 19th century. One of the summer villa examples of the Constitutional era, its window proportions, eaves, shutters, and exterior decorative latticework show European influences. The building, which has two timber floors over a stone-jointed masonry service floor, later had a balcony added to its south/east façade, and it was registered under protection No. 116 in 1971 by the Council for Immovable Antiquities and Monuments.
