Editor's Note
The inscription on the well reads: "There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah" and "For the pleasure of Almighty Allah, may it bring health to whoever drinks." Dating from the year 1324 (AD 1906), it tells those who drink from the well: "By the leave of Almighty Allah, may it bring abundant health to whoever drinks."
