On the southeastern part of the castle walls surrounding the centre of Kıyıköy, this is a stairway carved into the natural rock, covered by a vault of lime-mortared brick over the passage. It is about 2.5 m wide and around 3.5 m high. The entrance is blocked by rubble and scrub, neglected and out of use.
