Editor's Note
This structure lies within the boundaries of Sinanköy village, Lalapaşa district, Edirne province. It is a single-nave rock-cut structure. It is part of the building group on the western slope of Sinanköy Castle, an Eastern Roman fortress. Having been used for various purposes until recently, it has suffered damage. Carved out of the bedrock, it was built on a single-nave plan measuring roughly 6×10 m. The chapel floor was observed to consist of slab stones, and a southwest-facing rock-cut staircase giving access to the cells south of the chapel was identified. For photographs of the chapel, see the reference.
