Editor's Note
This site lies at the entrance to the town center of Lalapaşa, at the end of the asphalt road. Thought to have been built on a fairly small plan, only the hot and warm rooms of the structure survive today. Its body walls were built in alternating courses using roughly hewn stone and horasan mortar. No data of a quality sufficient to determine its architectural and decorative features has reached the present day. The bricks used in the bath's wall bonding and arches, which surviving traces show were all plastered, measure 28x28x4 cm, square or near-square, a format common in the Early Ottoman period (14th-15th century).
