This structure lies within the boundaries of Hıdırağa village, central district, Edirne province. It is part of the water-supply system that Mimar Sinan built to meet Edirne's water needs during the construction of the soup kitchen, mosque and other facilities commissioned in Edirne in 1530 by Haseki Hürrem Sultan. The cut stones on top are set on a slight incline. Running east to west, the arch was measured at 30 m long, 15 m high and 3 m wide. Curving from north toward east, the arch has a 1-m-high projection at its western end. The arch's vent openings have been widened by damage.
