This monument was built in 1965 by the Edirne Society for the Protection of Martyrdoms and Cemeteries over a well adjoining the village mosque in Küçükdöllük village. Made of cut stone, the monument has a pyramidal form. During the Balkan Wars, on 22 March 1912, the wounded soldiers of the 2nd Division, which had launched a breakout attack against the Bulgarians in the Kayapa-Küçükdöllük area, were treated at a first-aid post set up in the Küçükdöllük Mosque. The Bursa Çekirge Battalion, ambushed by the Bulgarians at Kayapa, was forced to withdraw toward Edirne without being able to retrieve the wounded treated in the mosque.
