This structure lies within the boundaries of Hıdırağa village, central district, Edirne province. It is part of the water-supply system that Mimar Sinan built to meet Edirne's water needs during the construction of the soup kitchen, mosque and other facilities commissioned in Edirne in 1530 by Haseki Hürrem Sultan. Standing among bushes and trees, the arch was measured at 40 m long, 2 m high and 2 m wide. Built of cut stone, it is a single, pointed-arch span.
