The memorial was built at the site where three privates, who had escaped wounded from a trap sprung by Bulgarian soldiers in the village of Küçük Döllük, later died as martyrs. For this reason it is also known as the "Three Martyrs." Surrounded by an iron railing, the memorial consists of three graves and a monument. The monument, made of cut stone set on a stone base, rises and tapers toward the top. Four cannonballs are placed upon it. [1] Bibliography: [1] (2013).
