On the plot where the now-vanished building once stood there is a licensed four-storey masonry apartment block. Source research has revealed that the mosque was built in the 15th century by Fazlullah Pasha, that it was popularly known as the Potlu-Butlu Mosque, that it was square in plan with a single dome, that it had a porch (last-congregation place) carried by three domes on marble columns, that it had a single-balconied minaret, that it was built of finely cut stone, and that in the 1908 earthquake the spire of its minaret collapsed and the porch…
