Editor's Note
It lies within the Meydan neighbourhood of Edirne's central district. The masjid, which has a wooden roof, a tiled covering, and a single minaret, was built by Fındık Fâkih. It was later converted into a mosque by the merchant Hacı Nasuh Efendi. This building burned down completely in 1857 and was rebuilt by Hacı Salih Bey, who also added a madrasa beside it. Balkan refugees lived in this madrasa for a time.
