It stands over the Tunca River on the Edirne-Karaağaç road. Built of cut stone, the bridge is 136.30 m long and 6.90 m wide and consists of 12 arched spans. Because the kiosk on the bridge faces the qibla direction, it is thought to be a "namazgah" (open-air prayer place), though some sources refer to this section as an inscription kiosk.
