The building has not survived to the present day. Research indicates that it had a square plan, was built of regular cut stone, had a hipped roof, and had a single-balconied minaret. Built by Zağanos Pasha in the 16th century, the structure fell into ruin, and in the 1900s its stones were taken down with the intention of rebuilding it as a mosque in Karaağaç; but when this could not be carried out because of the Balkan Wars, the mosque plot was reportedly sold in 1939.
