Editor's Note
It lies within the grounds of the Edirne Open Prison. On the south side of the circular-plan courtyard there are two rooms placed opposite each other. It was built between 1886 and 1888 by İsmail Hakkı Bey and the Fortifications Commission. It is one of the 24 redoubts that formed Edirne's line of defense and encircled the city.
