Editor's Note
It was commissioned in the name of İsmihan Sultan, the wife of Sokullu Mehmet Pasha. After the earthquake of 1751, it was repaired with a stone minaret and a wooden roof. It collapsed in 1916 and has not survived to the present day. Source: İsmihan Sultan Mosque (edirne.web.tr).
