Editor's Note

Built using the bagdadi (lath-and-plaster) technique, the house is entered from the north facade through a recessed door reached by four stone steps. The recess thus formed carries the upper floor on two wooden columns rising from the lower floor. The balcony railings are iron and the entrance railings are wooden. The balcony and the area above the entrance are decorated with various wood carvings. The section forming the attic floor is clad in wooden framing. On the part facing the east facade, there is a closed projection carried on four wooden columns over a narrow, long stone platform reached by four stone steps.
