It is located within the boundaries of the Karaagac neighborhood in the central district of Edirne province. It is one of the surviving building remains in the city dedicated to the silkworm-breeding industry. It belonged to a cocoon factory owned by Dimitri Dimitriadis, a Russian citizen of Greek origin, of which only the chimney has survived to the present day. It was registered as a cultural asset by decision no. 7696, dated 4 July 2003, of the Edirne Regional Council for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage. [1]
