It has largely disappeared. The castle walls, enclosing an area of about 100 by 460 metres, were built of rubble stone and lime mortar. On the west side a circular tower and curtain walls stand up to 5-6 metres high. Five courses of brick tie-beams can also be seen in the tower walls. Access to the tower is by a staircase winding within the wall. The east side of the castle is more ruined. At foundation level the wall can be traced as heaps of stone.
