Its date of construction is unknown. As a result of a surface survey conducted by Barış Toptaş in Yoğuntaş Village, the location of the Church of Aya Kiriaki was approximately identified from information given by village residents; however, apart from a stone in the side garden wall bearing a circular carving and probably belonging to the structure, no other remains were found. As no plan, photograph or other document relating to the church—which housed a primary school in 1884—could be obtained, no information about its general features is available either.
