Editor's Note
It lies within the boundaries of the Yapraklı district in the central district of Kırklareli province. It is thought to have been built in the 16th century by the Bağdadi Hatun Foundation. During the Russian occupation of the city in the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-1878, it was used by Russian soldiers as a headquarters; at the end of the occupation it was demolished by the Russian soldiers, leaving only its minaret, which was in turn destroyed during the Balkan Wars.
