This grand two-story building, located on Yayla Square in the Yayla (Yapraklı) district of Kırklareli, just across from the transformer, was built in the late 19th century by the Greek Dimitros Dodopoulos, known as the wealthiest man in the city at the time. Set in a very wide plot, the two-story building rises over a cellar; on its front facade is a deep, molded, round-arched entrance reached by stairs, flanked on each side by two segmental-arched windows, a pattern repeated on either side of the balcony door on the upper floor. Moldings run around the windows and between the floors.
