This residence on Müderris Sokak, Yanıkkışla Avenue, in the Akalar district is two stories over a basement; the basement is of rubble stone and the upper floors are brick-infilled timber frame. The lower part of the building rises on stone masonry, while the upper floor is observed to be brick-infilled timber frame. The lower floor served as an animal shelter, while the upper floor was at times used both as living quarters and as a workshop. It is said to have been used as a school in the early 19th century.
