Editor's Note
Located at the corner where Tırnova Avenue bends in the Akalar district, this building has a front facade angled to follow the street. Consisting of a ground floor and a first floor, it is of brick masonry with plastered facades. The ground floor has wide glazed shopfronts. The upper-floor facade is divided vertically into three equal sections by colonnettes, each containing a single window. The windows have segmental-arched tops and are bordered with rope-like plaster moldings along their edges. The building has a concealed roof, and the parapet wall at the roofline is decorated with semicircular openings filled with floral motifs.
