Editor's Note
The locomotive shed, the last station structure in the Kırklareli station area, was built at the far end where the line terminates. With a circular plan, the building could take two locomotives at once. An outbuilding containing a chief's office, a room each for the workers, a lathe workshop and lavatories was designed adjoining the right side façade of the structure. Use of the Kırklareli Train Station locomotive shed was gradually abandoned from the final years in which transport services were still actively provided on the line.
