In the old cemetery in the village of Avcılar, Demirköy district, Kırklareli province, there are both inscribed and uninscribed Ottoman-period gravestones. Since the graves with uninscribed gravestones in the old cemetery have head and foot stones, these are thought to belong to the Ottoman period. These gravestones range in height from 20 to 100 cm. Some of them have been toppled and pulled out of place, while others, having remained buried in the soil, are only partly visible. There are also inscribed Ottoman-period gravestones in this cemetery.
