Editor's Note
On the parcel northwest of the Avcılar Village Mosque there are Ottoman-period gravestones. The inscribed parts have been broken off and lost. Only the turbaned head sections survive. The turbaned head sections of the gravestones lie heaped in one corner. The parcel is no longer used as a cemetery today and is enclosed by a fence. According to the inventory report it is dated to the Ottoman period.
