Appearing on many old maps, the Küçük Bent (Small Dam) stood to the west of the Büyük Bent (Great Dam), on the stream that fed the Paşadere. The aqueduct known today as the Evvel Bend Aqueduct (formerly called the Şeytan, or Devil's, Aqueduct) linked up with this dam, carrying the water from the Küçük Bent into the main water line coming from the Büyük Bent and channeling it from there toward Istanbul, to the south.
