Editor's Note
This is a concrete pillbox belonging to the Çakmak Line. The concrete pillbox measures roughly 3 by 3 meters. Its frame is built entirely of concrete. Ventilation channels can be seen inside. On the northern side of the pillbox there is a defensive parapet built from rubble stone for protection, which continues northward for roughly 3 kilometers. As it lay within the construction corridor of the Northern Marmara Motorway, it has not survived to the present day.
