Editor's Note
A historic aqueduct in the Cebeci neighborhood of Istanbul's Sultangazi district. A work of the architect Mimar Sinan, the dressed-stone aqueduct stands 29.5 meters high and 155 meters long, preserving its 16th-century architecture intact. Now within the basin of the Alibeyköy Dam, it can be examined closely in summer when the waters recede.
