On the road-facing side, the structure was found to be made of rubble stone with reinforced-concrete tie-beams, with two barrel-vaulted openings under semicircular arches on the ground floor. The building's walls slope upward. There are walled-up door openings within the brick vaults. In the massive walls of the structure, which narrows pyramidally toward the top, there are three rows of reinforced-concrete tie-beams, one of them level with the top of the vaults. The rear of the structure was probably entirely demolished during mining operations, exposing the rubble-stone fill.
