Location: It is in Örnek Village, formerly named Venek, in Rize's Pazar district. History: The mosque has two different inscriptions; the first is on the north facade of the prayer hall, and the second is inside the prayer hall on the east wall. The first inscription bears the name Süleyman Efendi ibn El Hac Osman and the date 1870. Its inscription reads: "The benefactor and doer of good deeds, Süleyman Efendi ibn El Hac Osman, 1287/1870." From the second inscription, dated 1301/1883, in the prayer space, we learn that Osman built a mosque with the help of the villagers, and that it was rebuilt in [eighty-seven].
