Editor's Note
The cemetery of Yörük Village in Safranbolu District lies in the lower part of the village. Entry to and exit from the village are made by two separate roads that pass through the cemetery. The Kastamonu-Safranbolu road link and access to the gardens are provided by this road running through the cemetery. The earliest legible gravestone dates to 1793, and the stones in the graves were found to be made of limestone, granite, and marble. The Yörük Village cemetery contains 47 gravestones inscribed in Ottoman Turkish.
