It stands about 2 m west of the western courtyard wall of the Kornapa Village Mosque, roughly 11 km from the center of Taşköprü. The fountain has lost its original form and been renovated. There are two inscriptions on the fountain. The one on the north face is the fountain's original inscription, while the one on the east face belongs to the renovated fountain. The marble inscription on the north face is written in three lines of a single column in relief celi sülüs script, and its language is Ottoman Turkish.
