Editor's Note
According to TCDD (Turkish State Railways) records, it is a plain structure built as a stop station-guardhouse on the Istanbul-Edirne line, which entered service in 1873. It was registered as an Immovable Cultural Property Requiring Protection (Group 1) by decision no. 4147 of the Edirne Regional Directorate for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage, dated 23 May 2017.
