According to the photograph caption recorded in the Abdülhamid II Archive, it reads: "This is a photograph of the noble mosque with a school, newly built and revived in the village of Velimeşe within Çorlu, among the imperial estates of His Majesty the ruler of the world." Since the structure's present condition and exact location could not be determined, the Velimeşe settlement has been marked only approximately.
