Editor's Note
Built in 1908 by the provincial governor Cevat Pasha as the Rüştiye-Ula school, the building served as a primary school in 1914-1915. From the 1978-1979 academic year, with additional buildings constructed, it continued as the Çatalca Girls' Vocational High School, whose middle-school section was closed in 1996-1997. Today the building operates as a public education center.
