Editor's Note
Komurcu Neighborhood Bridge, in the Yomra district of Trabzon, is a masonry stone bridge running east to west, with two abutments and a single round arch. Cut stone was used in the arch and rubble stone in the other sections; both abutments rest on the bedrock, and niches stand out on the inner surfaces of the arch. The bridge's deck was later renewed with concrete, and its upper part was joined in a triangular form. Komurcu Bridge, in the southwest of Trabzon's Yomra district, within the boundaries of Komurcu village, is a single-arched stone bridge with a two-centered pointed arch built over the Komurcu Stream.
