The Ayafilbo Neighborhood Fountain is thought to have been built in the 19th century. Set on a steeply sloping site, the fountain is reached by a later concrete staircase of ten steps. Belonging to the iwan-type fountain group, it has a water reservoir, a round arch, twin spouts, and a built-in seating bench. Measuring 2.90 by 2.90 meters, it is of considerable size. A round arch resting on two 50-centimeter-wide piers at the sides of the structure is recessed inward, giving the fountain its iwan form.
