The Theodore Temardhokos Church, or Çömlekçi Church, was built for the Orthodox Greek community in the late 14th to early 15th century. A Greek inscription found on a nearby fountain bears both the name Theodore Temardhokos and the date 1487; however, this date is thought to relate not to the building itself but probably to a repair it underwent. The church was completely renovated in the 19th century and has survived to the present day in this renovated form. Sitting on a rectangular plan, the structure has a three-aisled basilical plan.
