The Kahya Yahya Mansion was built in the late 19th century and is one of the distinguished examples of the era's traditional Trabzon mansion architecture. The mansion, which has a three-story, terraced structure, was planned together with an independent bathhouse. Notable for its architectural arrangement and use of materials, the building reflects the urban living culture and the multilayered social structure of the period. The mansion's owner was Kahya Yahya, who is said to have been a member of the Teşkilat-ı Mahsusa (Special Organization) and served as the steward (kahya) of the Trabzon Harbor Pier.
