The Yavuz Selim School was established when the Sisters' College named "L'école des Sœurs de Saint-Joseph de l'Apparition," built by the French in 1856 and renovated in 1890, was converted into a school after the war. The building has a three-story plan with a hipped roof, set on a regular rectangular area. It is known that the structure, which underwent some changes in the Turkish period, was used for different functions in different periods.
