Köprüyanı Watchtower: At the entrance to the village of Yazlık (Livera) there once stood a watchtower thought to have been built in the Byzantine period. Köprüyanı lies in the Hamsiköy Valley. On the ridge between the Meryemana Valley and the Hamsiköy Valley, within Ortaköy, there is a larger garrison fortress. This garrison fortress is mentioned in the chronicle of Panaretos.
