Said by the villagers to have been built in 1863, the mosque was positioned to the south of the church and joined to it by a door opened between them. The mosque has a nearly square, rectangular plan. Each facade has two window openings. The windows have flat lintels, and embossed star-and-crescent motifs stand out on their keystones. There is also a gargoyle along each eaves line. The prayer hall is covered by a wooden ceiling supported by four cylindrical wooden columns. The columns form a square area in the center of the prayer hall, and this space is given special emphasis.
