The Mehmet Türkaslan Mansion is a valuable building owned by Middle East Technical University and ranks among the important examples of 19th-century civil architecture. Under a protocol signed with METU, the mansion was allocated to the Melikgazi Municipality for ten years and was restored between 2017 and 2019.
