Built in 1551, the Göllü Fountain was, as understood from its construction inscription, commissioned by Kasım, son of Abdullah. Having a freestanding, single-arched arrangement, the structure is a rectangular prismatic mass 4.44 meters high, 3.40 meters wide, and 2.60 meters deep. Its niche, 0.91 meters deep, is covered by a profiled round arch resting on the column capitals at its sides. The volute-cornered capitals rest on bases ending in a ring molding, and their lower parts are supported by concrete bases.
