Editor's Note
The Çokgöz Bridge, northwest of the Erkilet district of Kayseri, is a historically and architecturally valuable structure over the Kızılırmak. Standing on one of the important transport routes along the Kayseri-Yozgat road, the bridge is thought to have been built to provide passage between these two cities. Built of cut stone, the bridge runs east to west and is 131.20 metres long and 5.50 metres wide. It has fifteen arches, the largest of which spans 12 metres.
