Editor's Note
The Tekgöz Zaviye (dervish lodge) is dated to the thirteenth or fourteenth century. Since it bears no inscription giving a precise construction date, the dating rests solely on architectural details and decorative elements. The structure stands on a hill 500-600 metres southeast of the Tekgöz Hot Spring. It does not survive in its entirety, and an archaeological clearance and rescue excavation around it would help reveal the complete plan.
